Ingredients

For the Garlic-Herb Butter

  • 3 tablespoons salted butter (melted) Provides a silky richness.
  • 1 teaspoon parsley leaves (chopped) Adds vibrant color and a mild herbal note.
  • 1 clove garlic (finely minced) Boosts the dish with robust savory depth.
  • 1 tablespoon honey Balances the flavors with sweetness.

For the Corn

  • 3 ears corn (cut into 2-inch pieces) The star ingredient, juicy and bursting with flavor.
  • Paprika (optional) Adds a hint of smokiness and color.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Combine melted butter, chopped parsley, minced garlic, and honey in a mixing bowl. Stir until smooth and evenly blended.

Cooking the Corn

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the cut pieces of corn and cook for about 5 minutes until tender. Drain thoroughly.

Brushing with Butter

  • Place the cooked corn on a cutting board and generously brush the garlic-herb butter mixture over each piece.

Roasting the Corn

  • Heat a cast-iron grill pan over high heat. Roast the butter-coated corn in the pan for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally until slightly charred. Alternatively, roast in the oven at 400°F for 10-15 minutes, turning halfway through.

Finishing Touches

  • Drizzle with paprika if desired. Serve immediately for the best taste.

Notes

Choose firm and bright yellow ears of corn for the best flavor. Customize herbs to personal preference, and adjust honey for desired sweetness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
