Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, their ends trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or more if necessary for that perfect coat
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar for rich, sweet flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt adjusted to taste
  • Black pepper to personal taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder optional for an aromatic kick

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by placing the cut Brussels sprouts in a bowl.
  • Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar evenly over the Brussels sprouts.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper evenly. If you like garlic flavor, add the garlic powder now.
  • Stir carefully but thoroughly to ensure that the Brussels sprouts are well-coated in the marinade.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Air fry at 360°F for about 15-20 minutes, shaking and gently stirring halfway through cooking.
  • Continue air frying until the Brussels sprouts are beautifully golden brown and cooked through.
  • Taste and add more salt and pepper as needed before serving.

Notes

To elevate your dish, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes for heat or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese before serving. Ensure Brussels sprouts are uniformly sized for even cooking. To store leftovers, allow to cool, then refrigerate for up to 3 days.
